NANKERSEY MALE CHOIR - 60TH ANNIVERSARY Originally named "The Nankersey Glee Singers" the dozen original members met in 1950 to pursue their interest in close harmony singing. Two founder members are still singing with the choir. The choir's name comes from the old Cornish name for the village of Flushing where the choir is based. Flushing stands on the opposite side of the harbour to Falmouth and resulted in the choir adopting the song "Row Boatman Row" as its signature tune. This song has been especially revived for the 60th anniversary. This recording was made at All Saints' Church, Falmouth.
